Copyright & Content Policy

1. Respecting rights holders

Rec Hall streams one licensed or otherwise properly-authorized film at a time. We take intellectual property rights seriously, both the rights of the filmmakers and studios whose work we feature and the rights of anyone else whose material might appear on the Service.

2. If you believe your rights have been infringed

If you believe content on Rec Hall infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, email ryan@rechallmovies.com with:

• A description of the work you believe is infringed;
• The specific location on Rec Hall where you found it;
• Your contact information;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.

We review every complaint we receive at that address and will respond to legitimate ones, including removing or disabling access to content where appropriate.

3. Counter-notices

If you believe content was removed or disabled in error or misidentification, email ryan@rechallmovies.com with your contact information, an identification of the content and where it appeared before removal, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

4. Repeat infringers

We may suspend or terminate the account of anyone found to have repeatedly infringed others' rights, consistent with our Terms of Service.

5. Your use of Rec Hall content

Films made available through Rec Hall are for personal, non-commercial streaming only, under the license described in our Terms of Service. Downloading, recording, capturing, reproducing, redistributing, or publicly performing any film is not permitted.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective / last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
